The Largest Afro-Caribbean-Hip Hop Festival Returns to the DMV for Year Two

The Afro+ Festival returns for its second year, Labor Day weekend from September 4 to September 6th, 2026, at the Northwest Stadium Complex. Described as the largest Afro-Caribbean-Hip Hop festival globally, Afro+ celebrates the music and culture of the African diaspora, right in the heart of Washington, D.C. This year, world-renowned headliners  Davido (Friday), Tems (Saturday), and Wizkid (Sunday) prepare to light up the Northwest Stadium Complex stage, following performances by Adekunle Gold, Tiwa Savage, Ayra Star, Lil Baby, Latto, Chief Keef, and more. NUNAR cover star Simi Liadi, as well as Foggie Raw, Mannywellz, New Impressionz Band and Yung Manny will also be hitting the stage, representing the burgeoning talent coming out of the DMV. 

With the remarkable success of the inaugural festival, the projected attendance and profit for Afro+ 2026 is shaping up to be one of the largest Black music events hosted on the East Coast; in just its sophomore year.
