“The EP has something for everyone, but is deeply rooted in melodic hip-hop and pop,” says Brady Altland, CEO of AMG. With sounds from Jersey, the DMV, Miami, LA, and more, the EP embraces all sounds of hip-hop and has songs featuring catchy, relatable lyrics that will be stuck in your head after a few listens.
“Being able to release a group project with my artists/close friends is always such a rewarding experience for me.’Angels To Ashes’ represents the growth we’ve had at AMG over the last year. The angelic themes within the cover art and marketing transcend into the music. I decided to drop this project on Good Friday to celebrate the brighter times on the horizon,” says Altland.
If you aren’t familiar, AMG is an artist management and concert booking company located in south-central Pennsylvania. For over 5 years, Brady Altland and the AMG team have strived to help artists navigate the music industry.
Aside from music, the entire AMG team is dedicated to giving back to the community and focuses on mental health awareness, specifically in music and hip-hop. AMG and Ashtin Larold have hosted yearly mental health benefit concerts alongside the ADAA and have raised over $1,000 for mental health awareness.
AMG currently manages the DMV’s Marc Bravo, who recently announced a drop date for his next album "Allure 2.0”. On the prospect of signing more DMV artists, Altland tells NUNAR: “We are in talks with a few DC and Virginia-based artists right now. The entire DMV seen is one of the most exciting and promising ones in the entire US. The growth we've seen out of the entire DMV's hip-hop culture over the last few years has been phenomenal.”
