What Went Down at NUNAR’s Dip Party

In partnership with Disco Mary Collective’s Playhaus, and with art stars from Baltimore to NoVa in attendance, the party saw $C0Pi tear the Haus down.

The pop-up experimental art space located in Union Market’s sprawl was in its final few days before shutting down. To close out the space and celebrate the swag of DMV arts and culture, NUNAR teamed up with Playhaus to throw an indoor-outdoor party that brought out every part of the scene.

We had DJ $C0Pi on decks and Flo Petite and Sasha Perry behind the bar. Damon and NUNAR Editorial Director Jamilah Scott announced our TELFAR x Eastpak bag giveaway winner later in the night.

NUNAR cover stars Adwoa and Kassim pulled up in style. Some of our favorite musicians like John Tyler, Solielle, Muhteyoh, and Javah made appearances. Art stars Katelyn King and Daryle Locko were also in the mix.

Here’s a gallery of what went down, photographed by Damon Barnes and Katelyn King:
