DC’s Broccoli City Festival is returning on May 7-8 after a two-year hiatus and organizers have unveiled legendary plans for the one of the DMV’s best known music festivals.

On it’s 10th anniversary, this year’s event is packed with an star-studded lineup including Ari Lennox, 21 Savage, Wale, Rico Nasty, Lil Durk, Larry June, Summer Walker, Alex Vaughn, Masego, Jooney, Wiz Kid and many more. The event will be hosted by DJ and on-air host Little Bacon Bear, actor and on-air host Rodney Rikai, and on-air host Gia Peppers.

The festival is also returning under it’s banner of “BLK Change Weekend” with plans including Broccoli Con and career expo which aims to allow ticketholders to attend interactive programs, panel discussion, presentations, skill-building workshops, and exclusive networking receptions. There will also be the annual Broccoli City Fit Fest, a 5k marathon which will run through Anacostia Park State Pavillion.

“This year’s festival will be historic for many reasons,” said Brandon McEachern, co-founder of Broccoli City Festival. “Not only does BC Fest 22 represent a moment for celebration and reflection on all we’ve been through the past few years; it will anchor BLK Change Weekend. We’re bringing together community and business leaders to celebrate our culture and work together to provide Black communities, students and young professionals with equitable resources and opportunities.”

Attendees must be fully vaccinated or have received a negative COVID test within 48 hours of the event. General admission starts at $189.
